Hello People !!! âïž
We had lot of busy weeks with the first project happening in Bergolo in 2021, that is why we were missed our amazing Monday's post! âșïž But, in a few words, we'll update you about everything that happened here!
First of all, we went to the opening of the new, and the only bar of Bergolo - Parole Perdute. A beautiful evening with amazing food and tasting the wines and beers they offer. Shortly after, Vicky and Janis went on holidays, while Andre, Fahed and Lola were preparing hardly for the upcoming youth exchange - Enjoy Eat! In the mean time, Andre and Fahed gave support to Mario by helping in the kitchen for the music summer camp who took place in Bergolo. Meanwhile, Lola was preparing menus and shopping list to cook for the Enjoy Eat. Fahed spent days on finalising administrative and logistics part with the participants, and organising the quarantine that some of them needed to do. At the same time, Andre prepared for travel to Latvia and facilitate his first Erasmus+ project - Next Step! đ§ł
Shortly after, all Vagamondo crew started arriving. Fabiano, Fabrizio and Toni joined us and Vicky & Janis came back with a beautiful Spanish tapas meal! All of us spent days running to shop, preparing hostel, putting sanitary signs, building tent and preparing the welcoming. All in all, full days of emotions! đ
And then the first project of 2021 in Bergolo happened! Enjoy Eat! A youth exchange of 10 days with 40 participants from Spain, Italy, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Germany and UK. With main topics being food and nutrition, disconnection from technologies (yes, no phone for 7 days!), and wellbeing. In short, we made pizzas, traditional dishes, traditional dances, treasure hunting, yoga and breathing exercises... A full 10 days of joy, emotions and learnings. Lola, Fahed and Toni were working in the kitchen, taking care of most important part of the participants - belly. Meanwhile, Janis ran around shooting photos and videos, Vicky supported the team, and Fabiano together with Fabrizio made sure things run smoothly during the project. âš
