Buongiorno lovelies, š
Itās been a change of dynamic in the lives of Vitality volunteers; in a remote village within the mountain valley, Bergolo. A week ago was the beginning of a project Decameron. Aimed to create a collection of 100 short stories and sell these copies and raise funds to support wounded people from covid-19. š

So far in Decameron, we have seen participants writing an abundant amount of stories and leading the week of creativity. āš» You can check out more about the youth exchange on our Facebook page.
Meanwhile, the youth exchange was going on, Janis remained in the office - taking care of logistics in the project. Often reluctant to stay in the office. Janis, together with Andre, went to buy groceries so the kitchen staff can create delicious meals. š§š»āš¾ This time, Lola took the initiative to capture participant movements, workshops and a new dynamic in Bergolo. š· Although taking pictures is not novel to her, editing them has been a novel experience. But Lola is not the only one whoās experiencing a change. Our beloved coordinator Andre is travelling to the Netherlands to participate in a different project. Hopefully, his venture will bring back inspiration and new ideas to our collective. āØ
At the same time, Fahed remains the champion of the kitchen after being around food for the third project in a row. šØš»āš³ This time, leading the staff, walking the shoes of a chef and delivering Romanian/Syrian cuisine to participants of Decameron.
Itās been a creative, adventurous and crazy week, full of discovery. And while summer is slowly fading and leaving Bergolo, we still have one more project happening. Facilitated by the New Wellness Education team, āDigital Educationā will be a training course to rediscover the relationship with technology and its impact on wellbeing. š§āāļø
