Before Christmas in Bergolo ✨

Last week we put out the final decoration for Christmas while awaiting the people around the region who came as a part of the Christmas market.🧣

Calm, solitude, and melting snow ventured within Bergolo throughout the last week. While people of this village were preparing themselves for holidays, we gathered around the fire to reconcile the final moments together. Yes, the volunteering experience is ending for Fahed and Lola. And during our last week together, we looked back on the year, the wins we had, and the difficult times we endured.

But even in the last moments was shared with neighbors of our village. Together, we helped decorate the surroundings, set up presepes, and express our gratitude to the people who live in Bergolo.

And before the snow melted, we evoked the childish feelings of sliding down the hill, which for Lola was the first time. With snow in our shoes, sun warming our days, and a small hill, that gave a few seconds of excitement.
